Beach and Swimming Policies
- Only single poled shade structures are allowed on the beach and must not block lifeguard sight lines or access to the water.
- Swimming is permitted only in designated areas when lifeguards are on duty. Open water swimming is not allowed.
- Lifeguards are responsible for watching the water. Please be mindful of your child in all areas of the park.
- No child under the age of fifteen is to be left unattended.
- Bubbles, water wings, rafts and other floating devices are prohibited. Coast guard approved lifejackets are acceptable.
- Swimmers are allowed to swim to the rafts only if they are able to make it on their own and without a lifejacket.
- No pushing or flipping off the rafts.
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the water.
- Please do not bring glass containers to the park.
- Place all trash in the receptacles and recycling bins.
- Smoking is prohibited on the beach and all picnic areas.
- No foul language or playing of loud music.
- Picnic tables and grilles are used on a first come first serve basis. Reserving of tables or grilles is not allowed.
- Baby changing tables are provided in Dunning Lake Bathhouse.
- Do not use picnic tables for this activity.
- Fishing is not permitted on the beach.
- Please be respectful of staff and their decisions. They are here to ensure everyone's safety.
