Beach and Swimming Policies

               Only single poled shade structures are allowed on thebeach and must not block lifeguard sight lines or access to the water.

       Swimming is permitted only in designated areas when lifeguardsare on duty. Open water swimming is not allowed.

       Lifeguards are responsible for watching the water.Please be mindful of your child in all areas of the park.

       No child under the age of fifteen is to be leftunattended.

       Bubbles, water wings, rafts and other floating devicesare prohibited. Coast guard approved lifejackets are acceptable.

       Swimmers are allowed to swim to the rafts only if theyare able to make it on their own and without a lifejacket.

       No pushing or flipping off the rafts.

       No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the water.

       Please do not bring glass containers to the park.

       Place all trash in the receptacles and recycling bins.

       Smoking is prohibited on the beach and all picnicareas.

       No foul language or playing of loud music.

       Picnic tables and grilles are used on a first comefirst serve basis. Reserving of tables or grilles is not allowed.

       Baby changing tables are provided in Dunning LakeBathhouse.

       Do not use picnic tables for this activity.

       Fishing is not permitted on the beach.

       Please be respectful of staff and their decisions.They are here to ensure everyone's safety.
