Environmental Education
What is Environmental Education (EE)?
Environmental education (EE) is a learning style that encourages individuals to explore environmental issues, engage in critical thinking and problem solving, and supports taking action to improve the environment. The main components of environmental education include developing an awareness and sensitivity to the environment through increasing knowledge and understanding of the environment and environmental systems and challenges. EE involves learning about environmental functions, how humans impact those function, and how to look for those functions when interacting with nature.Who can participate?
