Members Code of Conduct

Winding Trails' community consist of thousands of individuals, children, staff, and volunteers that share a common love for the outdoors, recreation, and each other.  With a community of our size, it is important that everyone has a shared respect for each other and the facility. By paying your annual dues you agree to abide by our rules, policies, and this code of conduct.

          *  Members agree to abide by all rules and policies listed in the Member Handbook and on the Winding Trails website

* Winding Trails is free of any form of harassing behavior.  Any physical, verbal or sexual harassment will not be tolerated
 
 *  We are a family friendly environment.  Obscenities, aggressive, inappropriate, or offensive behavior shall not be tolerated

 *  Discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion(creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin                (ancestry),disability,  marital status, sexual orientation, or military status shall not be tolerated at Winding Trails. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of members, volunteers and vendors, and provision of services.  

       *The organization, its members, and staff, are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all

 * Members and their guests shall not denigrate, talk down to,or speak inappropriately and/or rudely to staff members,  general membership, and/or guests 

 
  * Everyone shall be treated fairly, equally, and with respect and courtesy

  * Members are responsible for the behavior of all their respective guests. Members must ensure that guests understand  and bide by all Winding Trails policies.

 
   *  Individuals found to be in violation of this Code of Conduct will be subject to a verbal warning, written reprimand

         suspension, or revocation of membership privileges depending on the circumstances.

As a Member of Winding Trails, I have had an opportunity to read the Code of Conduct, Rules and Policies, and agree to abide by the terms. I understand that these items have been drafted to protect the integrity of and atmosphere at the Winding Trails Community for all Members, Staff and Guests.

In the rare event you should witness anyone acting in a manner that is in violation of this code of conduct, please contact a staff member immediately or email Scott Brown, Executive Director atscott@windingtrails.org.
