Members Code of Conduct

Winding Trails' community consist ofthousands of individuals, children, staff, and volunteers that share a commonlove for the outdoors, recreation, and each other.  With a community of our size, it is importantthat everyone has a shared respect for each other and the facility. By payingyour annual dues you agree to abide by our rules, policies, and this code ofconduct.

o   Members agree to abide by all rules and policies listed inthe Member Handbook and on the Winding Trails website

o   Winding Trails is free of any form of harassingbehavior.  Any physical, verbal or sexual harassment will not betolerated.

o   We are a family friendly environment.  Obscenities,aggressive, inappropriate, or offensive behavior shall not be tolerated. 

o   Discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion(creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry),disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status shall not betolerated at Winding Trails. These activities include, but are not limited to,hiring and firing of staff, selection of members, volunteers and vendors, andprovision of services. The organization, its members, and staff, are committedto providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

o   Members and their guests shall not denigrate, talk down to,or speak inappropriately and/or rudely to staff members, general membership,and/or guests.  

o   Everyone shall be treated fairly, equally, and with respectand courtesy.

o   Members are responsible for the behavior of all theirrespective guests. Members must ensure that guests understand and abide by allWinding Trails policies.

o   Individuals found to be in violation of this Code ofConduct will be subject to a verbal warning, written reprimand, suspension, orrevocation of membership privileges depending on the circumstances.

As a Member of WindingTrails, I have had an opportunity to read the Code of Conduct, Rules andPolicies, and agree to abide by the terms. I understand that these items have been drafted to protect the integrity of andatmosphere at the Winding Trails Community for all Members, Staff and Guests.

In the rare event you should witness anyone acting in a mannerthat is in violation of this code of conduct, please contact a staff memberimmediately or email Scott Brown, Executive Director atscott@windingtrails.org.
